Good evening I’m leaving this review because I just had my son come over to grab me an ice cream cone (waffle) We live about 10 to 12 minutes from the shop driving and he just got back and I’m very disappointed because I was on FaceTime with him when he told the young lady he wanted the butter pecan waffle cone. She asked him what size and she gave him three options. I want her to show Him the actual sizes so I can choose via FaceTime, but that seemed like it was too much so I just told him to get a medium. He gets back to the house and as I’m eating it I noticed it was not butter pecan at all. It’s actually vanilla ice cream. He didn’t check he just assumed that she gave him what he asked for. He came rushing it to me because it was melting by the time he got back here so now I’m rushing to eat some of it to kind of clean it up and that’s when I noticed it’s not butter pecan. I’m disappointed because I didn’t want plain vanilla ice cream. The ice cream is creamy and it’s good but it’s not what I want it. Also, I asked him was it busy and he said not really as soon as he went up to the window he placed the order so it wasn’t even like it was rush-hour and they could’ve got it mixed

First time at Jim's this season after decades of visits. What happened?? The soft serve had that "over-the-top" artificial taste and color of those "45 flavor" places. The subtle pistachio and chocolate we know and love was replaced by those almost neon colors and strong, fake flavorings. Too bad...used to be the best place around.

Omg!!! So I go and ask do you have any dairy free ice cream today. A young girl, maybe 16?? Says yes vanilla and butter something. I say ok a small vanilla. She turns walks towards the machine then comes back wait my bad that's dairy. Giggling oppsies!! Are we serious here you can seriously harm someone!!!!

Jim’s Tastee Freez in Delmar, NY is the definition of a refreshing cold treat during or after any day. Go alone or with family. No matter what you’ll have a great time waiting in line hearing the happiness in the voices of the people in line eager to order some deliciousness on a cone or in a cup/bowl. My niece ordered a banana split 🤤 I wasn’t sure she would be able to carry it lol. I ordered a brownie sundae and the brownie was rather hard and unpleasant. Perhaps a warmer to keep them warm would be a nice addition. Nonetheless, Great job Jim’s Tastee Freez Delmar, NY. Thanks for being a place to cool down and unwind during the upcoming hot summer 🌞 🍨.
